- Description: From the early Proterozoic (circa 2.5 billion years ago), the specimen of Marra Mamba iron formation, polished to freeform, highlighting an undulating fire-coloured colouration, the base cut flat for display.
- Additional information: Found in Western Australia, this highly iridescent ironstone, is amongst the rarest and most colourful of all Tiger-eye. Probably stromatolitic in origin, this fossil is amongst the earliest signs of life on Earth, and as a semi-precious stone is also one of the most beautiful.
